Jaguar I-Pace

The all-electric SUV from the British car manufacturer Jaguar premiered at the LA Auto Show in November 2016. So far, only a concept vehicle, the Jaguar I-PACE will be presented as a series vehicle at the end of this year and will appear in stores in 2018.

The big cat purrs electrically now

The silhouette of the I-PACE is inspired by the cab-forward design of the C-X75 and, thanks to the coupé-like side line, impresses with an outstandingly sporty appearance with a particularly low drag value of just 0,29 cw. This is mainly due to the electrification of the jaguar; The I-PACE also owes its spacious interior to him, which should offer enough space for 5 people. The futuristic and luxurious design of the Jaguar is continued in the interior: a cantilevered center console runs through the entire passenger cell. Windsor leather, aluminum, chrome and walnut wood shape the luxury character and are atmospherically illuminated by LEDs embedded in the roof.

The information hub of the I-PACE is assembled around a 12-inch touchscreen, which is supplemented by two additional displays. Its two electric motors attached to the front and rear axles with a total of 400 hp generate an immediate torque of 700 Nm and accelerate the I-PACE from 4 to 0 km / h in around 100 seconds.
The lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 90 kWh gives the Jaguar an NEDC range of over 500 kilometers. With a 50 kW direct current connection, the battery should be able to be charged to 90 percent of its capacity in 80 minutes.
