Renault is putting a moving hotel on wheels for glamping fans. An electric camping van study is celebrating its premiere at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon and comes up with a number of highlights. This includes, for example, an exclusive equipment up to the delivery drone, which is supposed to deliver online orders directly to the roof of the camper.

Renault offers in the current Zoe from the basic equipment the B-mode as an additional selectable driving mode. In addition to the conventional D-mode, drivers can also switch to the B-mode while driving. The driver accelerates, brakes and stops almost entirely with the accelerator pedal. Even on downhill gradients, the vehicle can be decelerated by releasing the accelerator pedal without using the brake pedal.
Renault is also feeling the demands for emission-free mobility in the future. In response, the brand is revealing its plans for the next few years as part of its “Renaulution” strategy. According to the company, an important pillar will be the introduction of seven all-electric models by 2025. We take a look at the new start or - as Renault calls it - the “new wave”.
The Renault Twingo Electric was previously only available as a special Vibes model. Now Renault has announced the prices and trim levels. As with the Zoe, the equipment variants can be ordered in the three stages Life, Zen and Intens as well as the special Vibes model. The new price list now also provides information on all equipment options.
Two classics on the European market for e-cars have once again been heavily revised for the current model year. On the one hand, there is the Renault Zoe ZE 135 in the small car segment, which this year will compete with the revised e-Up and the Opel Corsa-e. On the other hand, the Nissan Leaf e + is the direct competitor to the new VW ID.3 in the compact car class.
According to the manufacturer, the new Captur E-TECH plug-in is being launched in Germany at an entry-level price of 33.600 euros. Pre-orders from Renault partners are already possible, delivery is planned for mid-2020. The buyers of the first Renault model with plug-in hybrid drive will receive the increased environmental bonus for electric cars from 2020 if the requirements are met.
