The eVito is being upgraded for the emission-free future. A larger battery and a faster charging system provide even more flexibility. As before, under the bonnet, the eATS provides propulsion, which drives the front wheels with a peak output of 85 kW. The Mercedes Benz eVito panel van is equipped with a water-cooled AC on-board charger (OBL) with a charging power of max. 11 kW.
This means that it is prepared for alternating current charging (AC), for example, at commercial sites, depots or public charging stations. The new model is charged via the CCS charging socket integrated in the front left of the bumper. This also enables fast charging using direct current (DC). This means that the eVito can be charged from 50 to 80% in about 50 or 35 minutes, according to the manufacturer, thanks to a standard charging capacity of a maximum of 10 kW or, optionally, a maximum of 80 kW at a DC fast charging station. The battery with a usable capacity of 60 kWh enables a range of 242-314 kilometers according to the WLTP standard.
As before, different recuperation levels can be selected for the new model so that the battery can also be charged while driving. The driver can change the strength of the recuperation as required using the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. An efficient and comfortable driving style is enhanced by the new auto-recuperation level. According to the manufacturer, information from the safety assistants is networked and the strength of the recuperation is adapted to the situation and in real time. In addition, three driving programs help the customer to choose between maximum comfort and maximum range at the push of a button while driving.
The eVito panel van starts at EUR 45.990 net. It includes a maintenance package for four years - which covers the costs of maintenance work in accordance with the service booklet and manufacturer's specifications during this period - as well as the Mercedes-Benz battery certificate for up to 160.000 kilometers or eight years.
