Following the announcements by Volkswagen, Mercedes also wants to focus on the transformation process towards an electric car manufacturer in the coming years. According to the company, at least one battery-electric vehicle (BEV) will be offered in all segments as early as 2022. All new vehicle architectures will be electric as early as 2025, and an electric variant will then be in the portfolio for all models.
