One of the most popular delivery vans in Germany has an electric counterpart by its side - the eSprinter. Mercedes-Benz's commercial customers will in future be able to choose between the conventional combustion engine and the emission-free electric motor for the Sprinter. With the first generation of the eSprinter, the investment costs for the operational infrastructure are a decisive cost factor in addition to the purchase price. An app, which will be available in spring 2020, is intended to bring more transparency to investment decisions.

Smart model year 2020 - emission-free through the city

With the optically revised and digitally renewed Smart, the new generation is embarking on the next few years of production with zero emissions. After saying goodbye to the internal combustion engine, Mercedes-Benz is relying on the latest generation of electric motors. The three variants smart fortwo coupé, cabrio and forfour are available.

At the Design Essentials 2019, Mercedes-Benz is presenting a homage to the legendary Simplex models from the years between 1902 and 1910. The sculpture is intended to link the origin and future of the Mercedes-Benz brand according to its own requirements. The first public appearance of the Simplex goes back to the spring of 1901. During the race week in Nice, a car with a new vehicle architecture started and conquered the competitions.
