Hyundai Kona Electric Facelift 2021 Review

Hyundai has been using larger battery packs in the Kona-E since the 2020 model year and thus better ranges in everyday life. The first successes came with 14.008 E-Konas sold last year. In addition to the short journeys, the completely redesigned compact SUV with easier entry and exit and the slightly raised seating position offers contemporary clarity and enough space for longer trips on vacation. With the facelift for 2021 there were still some optical and technical updates. In the summer test with the large 64 kWh battery pack, we took a close look at its suitability for long journeys.

Volvo responds to BAFA requirements

From January 2022, the regulations for state funding for plug-in hybrids in Germany will be significantly tightened. This primarily affects the large and heavy SUV models with a range of less than 60 kilometers. E-Niro goes into the new model year with upgrades

At the Consumers Electronic Show in Las Vegas in January 2018, Kia gave an outlook on its electromobility strategy and showed the Niro EV concept vehicle. The battery-electric version of the Niro crossover model is already one of the most popular SUV models in the BAFA statistics. In the meantime, 204 of the e-Niro Spirit 2020 model year 3.475 alone have received the environmental bonus (as of July 1, 2021)

Sono Motors plans to start deliveries in 2023 for new orders - battery update

At Sono Motors, the start of deliveries for new orders will not begin until 2023. At the moment there is no telling whether the concept will have a real chance on the market in the next two years, given the massive competition. Renault Captur plug-in hybrid starts in summer 2020

According to the manufacturer, the new Captur E-TECH plug-in is being launched in Germany at an entry-level price of 33.600 euros. Pre-orders from Renault partners are already possible, delivery is planned for mid-2020. The buyers of the first Renault model with plug-in hybrid drive will receive the increased environmental bonus for electric cars from 2020 if the requirements are met.
